CARAT FORECASTS CONTINUED GROWTH IN ADVERTISING SPEND
Carat has published its updated forecasts for worldwide advertising expenditure in 2013 and 2014. Based on data received from 57 markets around the world, Carat’s data shows continued positive momentum for global advertising expenditure in 2013 and 2014. Carat predicts global advertising expenditure will grow by +3% in 2013 and market recovery in all regions in 2014.

CARAT APPOINTED GLOBAL MEDIA PARTNER FOR BRITISH AIRWAYS AND IBERIA
Following a competitive pitch by International Airlines Group (IAG), Carat, working as one team with iProspect, D2D and Posterscope, have been appointed as global media partner for British Airways and Iberia. The new account comes in to effect in October and November respectively. Carat will manage both airlines’ global media planning and buying - with separate teams working on each account independently.

Aegis Media has been appointed by Burberry as its global partner for media planning & buying. The account will be centrally coordinated out of Vizeum offices in London, UK. The brand will also partner with tailored regional teams including talent from Carat, Posterscope, Isobar and iProspect.

DENTSU COMPLETES AEGIS ACQUISITION
The acquisition of Aegis by Dentsu is completed and the Dentsu Aegis Network Ltd. – "the first truly global communications network for the digital age" – is established in London. The expanded Dentsu Group now has a presence in 110 countries, and employs more than 36,000 professionals across the globe.
